Pencils: 2B, 4B, 6B and white chalk (pencil) on smooth brown paper.
I need to work on getting proportion right, the mouth and chin are too small, I am happy with the outcome as it has been a while since I have picked up a pencil but this is the start of a long journey. More thought should be put into the direction of mark making to show form, use less white on the highlights and show more middle ground in the drawing. Another more noticeable mistake up close was that I had used too much 4B on the dark of the right eye and the shine of the graphite was showing.
